  1. Be aware of the impact of unconscious bias on themselves, their colleagues, and their workplace.
  2. Practice and employ a key strategy for becoming aware of and diagnosing their own biases.
  3. Employ logic and rational thinking to weaken bias.
  4. Explain how adapting behaviors that run counter to our biases can be useful in weakening the hold biases have on our thinking.
  5. Practice identifying what we have in common with people different from ourselves and, thereby, weaken bias.
  6. Realize that biases don’t make us bad people; it’s what we do about them that matters.
  7. Be able to immediately apply five practical strategies to identify and defeat their own unconscious biases.
